TRANSLATE-822 needs the length of the current segment. multiple whitespaces/tabs and special characters are stored as internal tag on import. But internal tags are ignored on counting for TRANSLATE-822.

solution

Therefore we need the tag metrics (tag type space or tab or special character and the length) in the frontend.
