Due unknown conditions there might be an error task is null in the GUI. Since the reason could not be determined, we just fixed the symptoms. As a result a user might click twice on the menu action item to get all items.

with message "task is null"
solution
The reason could not be found out. The problem happens if someone tries to open a task menu and a import was running in the background (update progress). But the problem can not be reproduced.
