HTML number entities are not properly imported

      problem

      Whitespace encoded as XML numbered entities is not properly decoded and recognized as whitespace

      The problem is not fully investigated and description may not be accurate.

       

      Current status

      After several investigations and taking wrong routes regarding solution the problem seem to come from a very longtime used implementation of entityCleanup method. Must be evaluated what would be the correct fix in context of that whitespace check problem as explained in the TS issue.
