    Description

      Conceptional idea

In a translate5 InstantTranslate-Portal it makes sense, to also query other language resources, that already exist in translate5, like TermCollections and Translation Memories. A translation from one of these resources should be of higher relevance and quality for the current user, than any external dictionary and MT can offer in most of the cases.

      Implementation

In parrallel to the query to the selected MT always queries to all TermCollections and TM-Resources are made, that are assigned to a customer, that the current user is attached to and to which the TermCollections and TM-Resources are also attached to.

      Implications for the interface

Above a translation the source of the translation is always shown (e.g. "MT: EngineName", or "TermCollection: TermCollectionName" or "TM:TmName". Several translations coming from the same source are grouped.

If translations from a TermCollections or 100%-Matches from TMs are found, all different translations from TermCollections and all 100%-Matches from TMs are listed.

      Handling of terminology

The administrativeStatus of terms (Unwort, Vorzugsbenennung, etc.) is shown with an icon the same way it is done in the TermPortal. A mapping to map proprietary term-attributes to default-TBX-administrative status values is introduced in Zf_configuration table of translate5 and used for term-import and display of terms throughout translate5 (editor, TermPortal, InstantTranslate) - please see TRANSLATE-1375. If there is more than one term translation from a TermCollection, the terms are sorted: First "Vorzugsbenennung", Second "Normaler Term", Third "Unwort".

The term is linked to the TermPortal and a click on it opens it in the TermPortal.

For each term the  definition is shown, if it exists.

      Handling of TM-Fuzzy-Matches

If there are no terms and no 100%-matches, Fuzzy-Matches above x% are also shown. X is defined in Zf_configuration. In this case, the part of the source text that differs from the source text of the fuzzy match is highlighted in the text area, where the source is entered and a warning is displayed above the fuzzy match, that this is a partial translation and the non-matching part is highlighted in the source text area.

      Handling of MT result

The MT result is always displayed below the other results (if there are others).
