Description
Add not found words as terms
If a search in the TermPortal does not lead to a result, next to the "no results found" a button "Propose searched word as term" is shown.
On clicking the button
- a new term entry is opened
- a new term proposal inside this entry is opened
- the searched word is entered in this proposal for the language the term had been searched in
But nothing is saved yet
Integrate TermPortal with InstantTranslate
If a term is selected (its attributes are shown) above the first attribute a drop-down "InstantTranslate into" is located (only if the user has rights to use InstantTranslate). The select list contains the rfc5646 shortcuts of all available languages. If a flag image exists for the language, the flag will be shown in addition.
On clicking a flag of the drop-down, the InstantTranslatePortal is opened (in a the same tab). The translation is automatically triggered for the language that is selected in the drop-down. As source term the currently selected term is entered with the source language it belongs to.
Integrate InstantTranslate with TermPortal
Next to the target area a button is shown: "Propose as new term", if the following criteria are matched:
- If the target area of InstantTranslate contains 3 or less words
- If the user has rights to use TermPortal
- If exactly the same term as translated by machine translation already exists as term for the exact same language and in the users termCollections, the button "Propose as new term" is not shown.
On clicking the button:
- a new term proposal form is opened for the same termEntry as the existing source term
- if the source term does not exist, a complete new termEntry is opened and with it a new term proposal form with the target term as proposal. Above the term proposal a note is shown, that on saving the term proposal also a proposal for the source language term will be saved and this will be done on saving.
