Description
Usage scenario
Users need to answer the question: Which users are currently working on which tasks with which status for which language combination?
Implementation
The technical concept to answer this question is the filter mechanism in translate5 task overview: The overview can already be filtered along most of its columns. Yet so far no filtering is possible along the user column, because it is multidimensional (reflects information about assigned users, their names, workflow role and workflow status).
So far the assigned users, their workflow roles and the workflow job status can be seen by mouse over the user column in the tooltip.
To achieve the above usage scenario, a multidimensional filter for the user column needs to be implemented.
Multidimensional filtering of user column in task overview
The filter allows filtering along the following criteria:
- The assigned username or login name
- The workflow status of the users' jobs
- The job type (ie review or translator check)
All filter criteria can also be combined within the three listed criteria and with filters set for other columns.
So for example, you can filter for the name of a specific user and the workflow status. Or for a task name and a workflow job status.
