Description
Description of problem
Often we have translation projects from SDL Trados Studio, where a customer reviewer performs internal review in translate5. Often the reviewer does not understand the source language. Then we use the relais language option.
Example:
Source: Danish
Relais: English
Target: Spanish
The matching mechanism in translate5 uses the SDLXLIFF segment ID only (as I understand it).
If we have SDL Trados Studio projects with several SDLXLIFF files, Studio sometimes treat the ID numbering different.
Sometimes the numbering starts from no. 1 and counts across the files.
Example 1:
File 1: ID 1-31
File 2: ID 32-58
File 3: ID 59-315
etc.
Sometimes the numbering restarts for every single file.
Example 2:
File 1: ID 1-31
File 2: ID 1-26
File 3: ID 1-256
etc.
Result:
In example 2 we do not get the relais language segments from file 2 and 3.
I have created an example task in translate5 where you can see the problem.
Bug fix for the import
translate5 should first try to match the relais segment, as it currently does. If it does not match, it should try to match against the segmentNrInTask. If this also does not match, the matching of the segment should fail.
