Usage impact

The user is enabled to have the layout connected to the segment grid in the same way, visualReview does it already, but for the source language.

So when creating a task the project manager should be able to choose, wether he wants to upload a visualReview-PDF for source or for target text.

Implementation

Import-GUI

In the GUI as long as we do not restructure our initial wizard window we will add a second upload field for a source pdf file. It should be only possible to select either a source or a target pdf.

ZIP-Upload

For the zip upload another folder "visualSource" is allowed in the folder structure. If both folders - "visualSource" and "visualReview" are present in the zip, an import notice is written to the log and the pdf from the "visualReview"-folder is taken.

Editor-GUI

The editor GUI is exactly the same as for current visualReview. Except that instead of the target PDF the source PDF is linked to the segments.

Matching Algorithm

The matching algorithm is changed to combine the PDF to the source language, in case the PDF comes from "visualSource".
