Create translate5 test plan for manual testing

Create a test plan for manual testing through the translate5 GUI:

• First: Coordinate with Thomas, how to best do that
• Do some research, on how to best do that
  • Input Thomas: as first and fast possibility: use confluence and checkboxes there, search for best practices about manual software GUI testing, and / or test tools
  • Input Ozan: ordinary online questionnaire software, to reduce obstacles for testers (no registration etc)
• Present the results to Thomas and Marc
• Fill in the contents of the test plan: What should be tested.

• Additional content for the testplan:
  • Test OpenID integration (The manual-tests instance is linked to Google as OpenID provider, since the linked auth project in google is marked as test, the google accounts to be used for testing must be added there before a login can be performed!)

• It is also possible there to test specific branches (must be changed manually by a developer)

Integration in Build / Release Process:

• We define fixed release dates / release cycles
• Each release consists of several steps, these are:
  • Code Freeze: concrete point in time until the features must be implemented. This is the merge from develop to master, since the master has then the freezed code / release tag.
  • On the master are running then the automated master tests. If this tests are successful, the manual tests can be done on the manual-test instance.
    • TODO Thomas: on calling master tests, the manual-test instance should be updated automatically
  • If all tests are successful, we can proceed with the release
