MultiUser: Selected segment not updated when navigating with keyboard

In a multi user setup, the selected segment of each user is highlighted in the segment grid with the associated color of the user. When selecting another segment via mouse, the selection change is propagated to all open editor instances working on the task. This does not happen when another segment is chosen via keyboard navigation in the segment grid using the arrow keys.
