problem

• Open a segment in firefox
• Select text by click on the beginning of the text, keep clicked, drag to the end of the text to make the selection (not by thriple clicking!) then ctrl-C
• open the next segment
• Select the content the same way, then CTRL-V the content
• The content is added visually in the editor, but when checking the DOM it is outside the editor container, so that the replaced text remains in the editor, the inserted text is not saved on saving, and when opening another segment the inserted text is also shown in the opened editor.

reproduction

Our client can reproduce that under windwos, the firefox version was requested.

Under Linux with firefox 102 it was not possible to reproduce. BUT: This was a known and solved bug from the beginning of track changes.

solution

Get the information for reproduction and put that issue in the pipe of TRANSLATE-2345 and check if the problem persists after fixing TRANSLATE-2345.
