Background information

KPI evaluation is part of the task overview in translate5. Tasks can be filtered by all columns and additional filter parameter. Certain values will be calculated then.

The filterable columns need to be extended by the custom fields. This is covered by "TRANSLATE 3483  Custom project/task meta data fields".

Overview

As KPIs that are calculated for all filtered tasks, pricing and analysis data needs to be added.

For each task the pricing and analysis data of the last executed analysis is taken into account.

For each task the pricing and match rate scheme is used, that had been selected last for the task. This behavior is explained in a tooltip.

Price and match rate informations are not added to the task overview - they can be accessed in the analysis tab of a task.

The following calculated values are added to the KPIs (new calculated for all tasks in a filter set):

• Price
  • Average total
  • Total total
  • Repeated for all match ranges, that did exist in at least one of the tasks in the filter set
    • Average for match range
    • Total for match range
• Word count

To make the KPI work we need to make sure, that the calculated pricing and match information is saved persistent for each analysis, so that it does not change, if someone changes the pricing scheme after the analysis is done. This needs to be done for all pricing schemes that exist at the time of the analysis. For each new analysis always the new pricing information is fetched.
