When the users chooses full tag view, this will be short tag view after re-opening the same or any other task.

When the user choses not to display tracked changes, tracked changes will be displayed again after re-opening the same or any other tag.

Users have individual preferences, their choices for the editor should be persistent.

Solution

Make the selection of tag view mode and track changes persistent
