Problem
Users do need to understand better, when they create a new user, what roles are about and how you can combine roles with each other.
Solution
Put the following text on the user edit window in the position, that is shown in the screenshot:

and link the text with this Confluence page:
https://confluence.translate5.net/display/CON/System+roles
In addition complete the Confluence page with all info, that you think is missing (job coordinator, not documented roles, dependencies how you can and should use roles together. Get the info you do not have from Thomas or Aleks). After doing that, get in touch with Marion and ask her to polish the page, so that users can really make sense of it and all she thinks should be on there is on there. Discuss this with her in a meeting, so that she can pull all the info, she thinks is needed from you (and you maybe from Thomas and/or Aleks.). Especially important is also:
- When and why it is important to assign clients to a user (especially for InstantTranslate)
- What happens, if a user has no editor role, but InstantTranslate and/or TermPortal and/or TM-Maintenance roles
- What happens, if a user has editor role and/or TermPortal roles and/or TM-Maintenance roles and/or InstantTranslate roles
- What happens, if a user has Term-PM role (all clients) AND editor role, but no normal PM roles (is he able to upload TermCollections in Language Resources). If in that case user is not able to access language resources, please get in touch with Marc to discuss, what to do.
