    • Affects Version/s: None
    • Component/s: TM Maintenance

      Problem

Currently TM Maintenance search and mass deletion works by finding a string somewhere in the segment, indendent if it is inside a word or not.

Users would like to have in addition the possibility to a word-based search with option for using asterix-based search.

      Solution

      • Implement new checkboxes in TM Maintenance
        • Respect word-boundaries
        • Use asterix
          • support * at start or end of word to stand for 0 to many additional letters in the word
          • support ? at start or end of word to stand for 0 to 1 additional letters in the word
          • use asterix can only be activated, if "Respect word-boundaries" is also checked
      • Send search from text-fields to t5memory in same way as so far
      • Post-filter results from t5memory in PHP with Regex
        • Back-end will turn search query into Regex depending on what of above new checkboxes are checked
