Avoid exposing internal PHP error details in REST responses

      problem

      Some REST error handling can expose low-level PHP error details to API callers. These details are useful for diagnostics but should not be returned to clients in production responses.

      solution

      Return generic error responses to clients and keep detailed PHP error information only in server-side logs with the existing event code and request context.
