      problem

      The legacy worker API endpoint is no longer needed for current worker execution and queue handling. Keeping the unused endpoint increases maintenance effort and leaves an unnecessary public surface in the application.

      solution

      Remove the legacy worker API endpoint and related routing/access configuration, and ensure current worker execution continues to use the supported process-based mechanism.
