A client requested that the "Search In" field is always preset with "Target text" but the users are mostly needing it in column "Source text".

Possible solution: Either save last used value (similar to saving the state of the grid as requested in the road map) or preset according to the workflow step. Assuing that proofreader will search in the target and translators in the source column.

For Replace I assume Target is fine, since Source is mostly read-only.

[TRANSLATE-1793] search and replace: keep last search field or preset by workflow step.

All remaining todos are moved to:

this works now for the search tab, but not for the replace tab. And also it is not stateful, if the search or the replace tab is selected.

Also the other fields of the search dialogue box (like "search in locked segments", "wildcard" etc. should be stateful.

If I put something in the search field and close the search box and oben it again the text remains there (what is what we want). Yet the search button is not active, first I need to type something. This must be changed. If something is in the search field, the search button must always be active.
